Researches show, where normal plain turmeric contains around 3% of Curcumin, Himalayan turmeric of Uttarakhand contains up to 10% or even higher, that varies with terrain and altitude. (Curcumin is a natural compound responsible for most of the healing and medicinal properties of turmeric.)
How to use Himalayan Turmeric(Pahadi Haldi)
Turmeric can be consumed in many ways like Kadha etc., but with warm cow milk (Doodh-Haldi) it is wonderful for entire family health. Maximum 1 small teaspoonful (2-3g), with warm milk.
